Based on Matisse’s Self Portrait by American avant-garde playwright Charles L. Mee and the Greek film documentary Yiannis Moralis by Stelios Charalambopoulos, Hôtel Méditerranée is a collage of live performance and video. By following the lives of the two renowned painters, the piece explores the angsts and pleasures behind all great creativity and behind all human existence.
